The Career Development Office is located in Room D207 on the Galesburg Campus. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and evenings by appointment. Summer hours may vary. Career development services are available to Sandburg students and alumni on all campuses. Career Opportunities: Current career opportunities (on and off campus), including full-time, part-time, summer and temporary work are posted. Current listings can be found on the bulletin boards in B Building and Upper D hallways as well as www.sandburg.edu/life/careerjob-opportunities.
 

Career Prep Assistance:

Resume Writing
Learn how to make a lasting and positive impression on a prospective employer in a short amount of time by receiving assistance from a certified resume writer. Whether you are in the beginning stages or in need of a final proof, visit the office of career development for a consultation.

 

Mock Interviews
Receive help in learning how to answer difficult questions, develop interview strategies, improve your communication skills and reduce your stress before an actual job interview.
 

Career Expo: This annual event is held on the Galesburg campus. This is an excellent way to meet potential employers, learn about their organizational needs, and see which career is right for you.  Click on the Career Expo link for more information.

 

Labor Market Information: National, state, and local labor market statistics are available for career guidance. Career, Technical and Health program graduates are surveyed annually 6-12 months following graduation.
