First-year students in the associate degree nursing program worked through an ostomy unit that included an exercise in which students wore an ostomy pouch for 24 hours.
Poems must be 100% original, previously unpublished and no more than two pages. Poets must live within 200 miles of Carl Sandburg College District 518 or have attended Sandburg. Each entrant may enter only one poem. Teachers can submit poems on behalf of students — Word docs are preferable, though PDF documents are accepted.
