Experiencing Our Campus
Choosing a college that is the right "fit" for you is a big decision. One of the best ways to truly know what a college has to offer is to visit the campus and take a good look around. The Welcome Center schedules visits on an individual basis at the student's convenience. We are available between Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. At this time, we are not available for weekend campus visits and tours.
Please note there are no scheduled classes on Fridays. Ideally, we want each prospective student to get the full experience during our most active days and times so we highly encourage Monday-Thursday visits.
Carl Sandburg College recognizes national holidays, and we are not available for campus visits on those days including Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and the Friday after Thanksgiving. Additionally, we are closed each year from December 24 - January 1, as well as the Friday before Easter. Due to an important infrastructure upgrade, all Carl Sandburg College campuses and facilities will be closed from noon on March 10, 2023, to 8:00 am on Monday, March 20, 2023.

We are available for Virtual Appointments via Zoom: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. At this time, we are not available for weekend appointments.
Please note, you do not have to have a Zoom account in order to participate in a Virtual Appointment as you may join via a browser.

Simply fill out the Group Visit Request form, and be as thorough as possible so we can dedicate the appropriate staff and resources for your visit. Allow 1-2 business days for a response from the Welcome Center after submitting your request.
Please note, groups which exceed 40 attendees should allow at least 3 week's notice. Groups under 40 should allow at least 2 week's notice.
