GALESBURG—Carl Sandburg College and Bellevue University have partnered to ensure that students who graduate from Sandburg will have their associate degree and other credits transfer smoothly to Bellevue University, allowing them to complete their bachelor’s degree in as little as 15 months.
The partnership allows students to apply and transfer their credits to Bellevue University at no cost. Students who earn their associate degree at Sandburg will have fulfilled the 36-credit hour general education core requirement for a bachelor’s degree through Bellevue University while also covering a significant portion of the elective requirements to earn their bachelor’s. Many of Bellevue University’s programs can be completed online.
“As we look to provide more opportunities for our students to transition to a four-year college after graduation, Bellevue University provides many options that would enable students to stay in the area and complete their degree,” said Rick Eddy, director of admissions and records at Sandburg.
