GALESBURG—Former Carl Sandburg College men's golfer Cody Reiber won the 2013 Galesburg Men's All-City golf tournament title by shooting a 4-over-par 76 on Sunday at Soangetaha Country Club to claim the championship by four strokes. Reiber finished the tournament with a four-day total of 290 and didn't relinquish the top spot after leading by a shot at the end of the second round.

Reiber played for the Chargers from 2011-2013, earning All-Arrowhead Conference honors in both his freshman and sophomore seasons. This past season, he helped Sandburg makes its third appearance in four years at the NJCAA Division II national tournament, where the Chargers tied for 12th, the best finish in program history. Reiber's 31st-place finish was the team's top individual showing at the tournament.

Joey Juergens, who will be a sophomore for the Chargers this season, finished 10th in the All-City tournament.
