Carl Sandburg College Wins 3 NCMPR District Medallion Awards

GALESBURG—Carl Sandburg College won three National Council for Marketing and Public Relations District 3 Medallion Awards during the district’s conference earlier this month in Columbus, Ohio.
 

Sandburg won silver medallions in the Handbook category for its Student Success Guide and the Electronic Class Schedule/Catalog category for its online catalog, which was unveiled for the 2013-2014 academic year. The College also won a bronze medallion in the Magazine category for its CareerFocus magazine, which highlights various programs at the College and profiles students and faculty members.
 

Sandburg was one of 14 community colleges out of the 49 in Illinois to receive awards. More than 380 total entries were submitted for 40 categories. Sandburg was judged against other schools in NCMPR District 3, which includes community colleges of all enrollment sizes from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and Ontario.
