GALESBURG—All classes and regular business operations at Carl Sandburg College will resume at 8 a.m. Monday following flash flooding Tuesday evening that damaged parts of the lower levels of Buildings C, D and E on the Main Campus in Galesburg. Professional cleanup and restoration of the affected areas began Thursday.
The offices for advising; business; financial aid; Gale Scholars; records and registration; social and business sciences/humanities and fine arts; student services; student success; TRIO Student Support Services and TRIO Upward Bound have been temporarily relocated because of damage sustained during the flooding. Those needing to reach these offices during this time are asked to call 309.344.2518 or go to the Sandburg Welcome Center, Room B09, to be directed to the appropriate area.
