MOLINE—The Carl Sandburg College women’s basketball team dropped an Arrowhead Conference game 69-63 at Black Hawk on Tuesday.

The teams went into halftime tied 26-26. Freshman guard Jordyn Chasteen (Canton) had a team-leading 15 points for the Chargers (7-13, 1-5) and was the only Sandburg player to reach double figures.

Rayven Morrow and Lauren Ickes each scored a game-high 19 for Black Hawk.

“We got dominated in the paint and it cost us the game,” Chargers coach Mike Bailey said.

Sandburg returns home to host Highland at 1 p.m. Saturday at John M. Lewis Gymnasium.
