Railroad Days Train, Toy & Model Airplane Show

Join us for the annual Train, Toy, & Model Airplane Show at Carl Sandburg College during Galesburg Railroad Days weekend, June 22 and 23.

The Train Show is the largest summertime show of its kind in the Midwest. Over 60 vendors and exhibitors with over 230 tables of merchandise will be setup. Attendees have an opportunity to view 15 model railroad layouts and displays.

The Toy Show will offer all kinds of toys & collectibles including Hot Wheels, NASCAR items, military, dolls, sports cards and more!

New this year is the Model Airplane Show with merchandise for sale, open flying demonstrations, and 3D airplanes – scale & micro flyers.

Saturday, June 22 the Show is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, June 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults (allows admission to all three shows) and under 12 are FREE!

Proceeds from the event support the Carl Sandburg College Foundation and are used for the benefit of Sandburg students.

Alumni & Friends Annual Golf Outing

The 5th Annual Carl Sandburg College Alumni & Friends Golf Outing is scheduled for Monday, July 15 at Lake Bracken Country Club, Galesburg.  Registration begins at noon with a 1 p.m. start time. An awards dinner follows at 5 p.m. Four individuals per team; if you do not have a team you will be assigned to one.  Funds raised from this event will be used for the benefit of Sandburg students.
