GALESBURG—Carl Sandburg College recognized outstanding students in academics and leadership for the 2013-14 academic year during the annual Recognition and Awards Assembly on Thursday in the Student Center on the Main Campus in Galesburg.

GALESBURG—Carl Sandburg College will host a Child Care Fair from 5:30-7:30 p.m. May 6 in the Student Center on the Main Campus in Galesburg, 2400 Tom L. Wilson Blvd.
 

The fair will allow for community members to meet with several currently licensed area child care providers about their services and offerings. There is no cost to attend the fair.

GALESBURG—Sixteen Galesburg District 205 eighth-graders were inducted into the George Washington Gale Scholars Class of 2018 during a ceremony Friday afternoon in the Student Center on Carl Sandburg College’s Main Campus in Galesburg. GALESBURG—Winners from the 21st annual Knox-Galesburg Symphony Young Pianists Competition will perform on the 9-foot Steinway concert piano at 10 a.m. April 26 at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Galesburg as part of the Music Mornings program.

GALESBURG—Registration is now available for the 12th annual Carl Sandburg College Kids on Campus summer sessions, which will take place Aug. 4-8 at the Main Campus in Galesburg.

GALESBURG—Carl Sandburg College has been named the national champion in the Small Colleges Category of the ninth annual Digital Community Colleges Survey by e.Republic’s Center for Digital Education.
