Take x-rays and CAT scans or administer nonradioactive materials into patient’s blood stream for diagnostic purposes. Includes technologists who specialize in other scanning modalities.
This program prepares students for the following occupation: X-Ray technicians, computed Tomography (CT) Scanner Operator. Details are available on the US Department of Labor’s website via the Standard Occupational classification (SOC) code links.
Cardiovascular Technologists and Technicians, Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, Nuclear Medicine Technologists, Radiologic Technologists, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
