ACCOUNTING

Sandburg offers an Accounting certificate and an Accounting degree for students who want to work as an assistant to an accountant or an accounting professional. Accounting certificates and degrees are versatile because all companies need accountants to run successfully. Accounting professionals keep track of revenue and expenditures and conduct a financial analysis to help identify trends that may have an impact on their company.

Admission requirements

Accounting is an open-enrollment program — meaning there is no criteria students must meet to be admitted. If you're interested in enrolling in the accounting program, complete the  steps to enroll, which include completing the free application for admission.

We encourage all prospective students to visit campus. We have several  Explore Sandburg open houses throughout the year, or you can schedule a  campus visit at your convenience.
