* Tuition and Fees

Cost of tuition and fees for a typical student based on enrolling for 28 hours per year. In District tuition is calculated based on $170 per credit hour and out of District tuition is calculated based on $255 per credit hour. Out of state tuition is $284 per credit hour. Additional fees are charged for certain academic program courses. Average fees for all students is $5.00 per credit hour.

This gives the average cost of books and supplies for a typical student for an entire academic year. Rental prices were included when available.

* Room and Board

This is the estimated costs to live in the Sandburg District while attending our college. Actual costs may vary depending on individual choices related to location and circumstances.

* Transportation

This is the estimated cost of transportation from students residence to college where classes are located.

* Personal and Miscellaneous

This gives the average cost for expenses including clothing and other personal expenses.

Other Program Costs

Some programs, especially career or technical programs, may have additional costs such as course fees, lab fees, uniforms, tools, supplies, or equipment expenses. Total estimated program costs are available at Programs of Study. Contact your academic department for additional program costs.

Part-Time Adjustments

If you are enrolled less than half-time, your cost of attendance for financial aid will exclude housing, personal, and miscellaneous expenses.
