Carl Sandburg College is approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) to offer continuing education credits to the following professions: Cosmetologists, Hair Braiders, Estheticians, Nail Technicians, and Barbers.

Cosmetology Continuing Education Class

Today, Wella supports stylists every step of the way to help achieve their dreams. At Wella they believe that in order to create real beauty you need inspiration, technical skill and craftsmanship. In May, cosmetologists will have an opportunity to earn continuing education credits by attending a one-day class led by Jessica Caughron of Wella Professionals. Registered participants will learn about new Illinois’ laws, the numbering system, cover all color lines, Blondor and new freelights, as well as an overview on new Spring trends.

Instructor Bio:

Working in the beauty industry for over 15 years, Jessica Caughron is passionate about education and helping to inspire other hairdressers. In addition to being an educator, Ms. Caughron is a salon owner who enjoys the consultation process and communicating with customers. She states, “I love this industry because it allows me to help people feel beautiful on the outside as well as the inside.”
