ESL Classes

Beginning/Intermediate Level English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes Start Monday, February 3, 2020

This class is for adults whose native language is not English. Students will be given instruction and practice in speaking, writing, and reading in English on a variety of topics.

Topics covered will include, but not limited to:

Housing - Rent/Buying

Health - Medical Forms/Insurance/Questions to Ask

Employment - Applications/Resumes/Interviews

Transportation - Commuting in Town/Traveling

The instructor for the class is Jessica Jones, who has more than 10 years of teaching experience. She is employed as an ESL teacher and has worked as an adult ESL volunteer.

Classes begin on Monday, February 3, 2020 and conclude on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 (classes meet every Monday and Wednesday).

Time: 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

Location: Carl Sandburg College, Main Campus, Galesburg

Cost: $100 (no textbook required)
