Work Study

Work Study

Federal Work Study (FWS)

This program allows students to work on campus and earn funds to help meet educational costs. Students can earn up to the amount shown on the award notification. Students are paid in a biweekly paycheck for hours actually worked. Minimum enrollment is six credit hours per semester.

If you are awarded FWS and wish to apply for a job, you will need to obtain, complete and return the Work Study Application to the Financial Aid Office. Your application will be sent to the Career Resources Office. Your application is kept on file for the entire school year as long as you are enrolled in at least 6 credit classes per semester at Sandburg and remain eligible for the work study program. Employment is available on the Galesburg campus.

A job is not guaranteed, and you are not guaranteed to earn your entire award. You may contact the Sandburg Career Resource Office at 309.341.5246 or
