Currently there are 197 hospitals and pharmacies in West Central Illinois.  The employment of pharmacy technicians is expected to increase by 32% nationally by the year 2020.  Employment as a pharmacy technician is an attainable goal once a student has earned a high school diploma (or equivalent), and has been trained professionally and becomes PTCB certified.  The Pharmacy Technician Training program will give you a solid foundation of the skills necessary for employment as a pharmacy technician in a retail setting.  Course will also prepare students for the PTCB Certification exam. Optional 2 hour PTCB prep class on Saturday, 07/13/13.
