KGS Young Pianists Competition Winners Announced

GALESBURG—Winners from the 21st annual Knox-Galesburg Symphony Young Pianists Competition will perform on the 9-foot Steinway concert piano at 10 a.m. April 26 at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Galesburg as part of the Music Mornings program.

Also, the Knox-Galesburg Symphony will host a public recital for all winners and honorable mentions at 3 p.m. April 27 in Kresge Recital Hall at Knox College.

Now in its third decade, the Knox-Galesburg Symphony Young Pianists Competition, hosted by Carl Sandburg College, is open to pianists in Knox, Warren, Henry and Stark counties. For more information about the competition, contact James Hutchings at 309.341.5317
