Women's Basketball

 

Carl Sandburg College's inaugural women's basketball team won its first game played on December 9, 1974 and the program has continued to be successful. The women's basketball program has won 11 Arrowhead Conference Championships, advanced to the regional tournament 12 times and the NJCAA national tournament six times, most recently in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. All women's basketball home games are played inside John M. Lewis Gymnasium at the Main Campus in Galesburg.
