GALESBURG—ROWVA High School’s Haylee Swanson and Galva High School’s Alex Strom have signed to play next season for the Carl Sandburg College women’s basketball team.

MALTA—The Carl Sandburg College softball team continued its hot streak by sweeping an Arrowhead Conference doubleheader Monday at Kishwaukee. The Chargers scored four eighth-inning runs to win the opener 9-5 in extra innings and shut out the Kougars 6-0 in Game 2.

GALESBURG—Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin High School senior Ryan Hickman has signed to play next season for the Carl Sandburg College baseball team.
