GALESBURG—The Carl Sandburg College softball team’s Arrowhead Conference home doubleheader scheduled for 3 p.m. today against Sauk Valley has been postponed because of unplayable conditions. The games have been rescheduled for 3 p.m. April 25.
 

Sandburg (20-16, 8-4) has won 10 of its last 11 games and is 13-3 in April.

GALESBURG—The Carl Sandburg College men’s golf team’s Arrowhead Conference match scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Lake Bracken Country Club has been postponed because of unplayable conditions and rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. April 30.
 

The Chargers’ next scheduled event is an Arrowhead match hosted by Illinois Valley at 1:30 p.m. April 19 at Senica’s Oak Ridge Golf Club in LaSalle.

GALESBURG—The Carl Sandburg College baseball team’s pitching staff tossed 18 scoreless innings as the Chargers swept an Arrowhead Conference doubleheader with Highland on Tuesday at the William “Bill” Hungate Baseball/Softball Complex. GALESBURG—Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin High School senior Ryan Hickman has signed to play next season for the Carl Sandburg College baseball team.
