GALESBURG—Carl Sandburg College and the University of Illinois Springfield Peoria Center on Monday signed an agreement that offers a new transfer option for students studying accounting and business administration.

 

Under the partnership, students who graduate from Sandburg with their associate degree can transfer their credits to the UIS Peoria Center to complete their bachelor’s in accounting or business administration in just two more years.

PEORIA—Sophomore Haley Bolliger finished 16th in the women’s race and broke her own 6-kilometer school record as the Carl Sandburg College cross country teams closed the regular season at the Bradley Pink Classic on Friday at Newman Golf Course.

GALESBURG—The Carl Sandburg College men’s soccer team picked up its first ever playoff victory with a 6-2 defeat of Kankakee on Saturday afternoon at Kleine Equipment Field in the opening round of the Region IV tournament.

KANKAKEE—Freshmen Lawson Crider and Brandyn Murray teamed up on both goals for the Carl Sandburg College men’s soccer team in Saturday’s 2-1 Region IV Champions Division victory at Kankakee.
