GALESBURG—The Carl Sandburg College men’s soccer team closed its regular season with a 3-1 loss to top-ranked Iowa Western on Wednesday afternoon at Kleine Equipment Field.
 

After falling behind 2-0, the Chargers (5-7-2) got within a goal on a header from sophomore Malcolm Findlay (Palm Bay, Fla./Bayside) in the 71st minute. The goal was just the fourth allowed by the Reivers (14-0-1) this season and the first in their last four matches.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Sophomores Rimi Black (Taylor Ridge, Ill./Rockridge) and Chrissy Kokjohn (Clinton, Iowa/Prince of Peace) led the Carl Sandburg College men’s and women’s cross country teams at the Lamb-Kohawk Invitational on Saturday at Noelridge Park.
